So, my notebook (HP 15-ac120nd) won't let me play some games anymore because I need a "video cart accelerator." On some other forums I read that I needed to update the driver for my graphics card (Intel (R) HD Graphics 5500). So I followed all the steps, downloaded the latest version from the Intel website, but when I wanted to install it my HP said it didn't recognize the file and didn't allow it to install and redirected me to the HP drivers. But when I tried to download and install the drivers that HP claimed were for my notebook specific I couldn't install them either because they don't fit my video card.
Intel Hd Graphics 5500 Driver Windows 10
To unzip the file, right click on the graphics driver zip file you downloaded, and select Extract All.Go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category
Click on the Intel HD graphics adapter listed there.Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.Click on Have Disk, and browse to the unzipped graphics driver folder>Graphics>igdlh64 (setup information file), click Next, and the driver should install.Be patient, as it can take a few minutes for the driver to completely install. When the installation is finished, restart the PC.
I have intel hd 5500 with intel core i3 5005U 16GB Ram and play Battlefield 1 multiplayer on lower/medium. And BF4 is running smooth af. After upgrade with SSD game experience is even better. Not bad for a business laptop.
Good morning,I am thinking about buying a laptop with the following specs:model: Acer aspire v3-572g-57vucpu: intel core i5-5200u (dual core, 2.2 to 2.7 ghz)gpu: intel graphics 5500 + nvidia geforce 820m 2gbram: 4gb single channeldisplay: 1366768os: windows 8.1I would like to know if it is good for watching FHD and UHD video (streaming or from support), obviously on an external display being the onboard one just HD.Is it a system that can assure me good performance in the coming years (at least for the next 5 years) or should I buy something else?As an alternative, there is also another acer of the some series but having cpu i7-5500u and gpu nvidia 840m.Thank you for your attention.Regards,Fulvio (Italy)
In Ubuntu, if your graphics card is powered by an Intel processor, it will automatically detect it. If it is not, you should install the latest graphics driver from the Xorg-edgers fresh X PPA and restart your computer. After you do this, you can add packages to your system by running the Xorg-edgers fresh-x-crack-pa.
با عرض سلام من میزنم واسه نصب این ارور رو میده راهنمایی کنید ممنون. the driver being installed is not validated for this computer. please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer. setup will exit. would you like more information? click yes to be directed to the intel support website.
We are seeing an increasing number of bugsplats for SketchUp 2015 (64-bit) when it is used on machines with Intel HD Graphics 5500, even on machines with dedicated graphics card. If anyone is using SketchUp 2015 (64-bit) on such machines, with or without dedicated graphics card, and NOT crashing, please let us know the graphics card driver version of the same. To find the graphics card driver version, please see this page.
This issue should not be considered solved. I continue to have this issue on my brand new Dell L7450 with Intel HD5500 graphics card. going to 32 bit in my mind is a band aid solution. Is Trimble actively addressing this issue?
If "Error 175 - AMD Installer cannot continue due to unsupported AMD graphics hardware" appears when checking for new drivers, your AMD hardware is no longer supported by AMD with new updates. See the next section, Catalyst Software Suite installation for older AMD graphics.
There is a newer driver for those intel chips dated 2018.There are lots of reports of problems with the older 2017 drivers.Yes, this is a minimal display adapter and generally not a good choice for applications like Rhino.
The Intel HD Graphics 5500 (GT2) is an integrated Broadwell graphics card revealed in Q1 2015. It can be found in several ULV SoCs (15 W TDP) such as the Core i5-5200U or i7-5600U. While Core i5 and Core i7 chips feature 24 EUs, the Core i3 version offers just 23 EUs. Depending on the specific CPU, the maximum GPU frequency varies between 850 and 950 MHz.
