Fl Studio 11 Shortcuts
Improving your workflow is a critical but underrated topic for producers. Especially when we are going to talk about using shortcuts to improve your workflow. If you want to get skilled in your DAW and professional, you should know all the basics shortcuts. For example, the producer Headhunterz forces himself to use shortcuts and not his mouse. In the beginning, this may take a bit longer, but after a few weeks, you work WAY faster. Therefore, we recommend learning all the shortcuts, for example, FL Studio. FL Studio shortcuts and Logic Pro shortcuts are easy to learn and a big improvement.
Imagine working faster, like you organise your folders to save time. You also should learn those shortcuts no matter which DAW you use. Logic shortcuts, FL Studio shortcuts, Ableton shortcuts you can find them all on the internet. You can save tons of clicks each time you learn a new shortcut and time, this time you can spend on making more music!
Custom Ableton Live keyboard shortcuts are very useful and you can save them into your default template. These ones work a bit differently to the other shortcuts here as you are assigning single keys rather than combinations.
This shortcut will work differently depending on your grid settings. If the grid is active and you hold alt while dragging a clip, you will be able to move the clip freely off the grid to wherever you like. If the grid is off and you hold alt, the clip will snap to the grid when you move it. Like the above shortcuts, this also works with piano roll notes.
Principally, as the wants and needs of producers change over time, so too do the features of Live. The command you remember may no longer exist as a feature in Live, or has been made redundant by a new feature. But in general, the most common and useful shortcuts will stay the same.
Keymapping is case-sensitive, meaning you can use Shift as a modifier for your own commands. One thing to be aware of here is that your custom key commands will be affected by the caps lock key, unlike regular shortcuts.
These have large buttons at the top to get to these menus. However, you will flip between these constantly. Using the keyboard shortcuts simplifies the process of bringing these menus up and keeps you focused on writing music. The channel rack in particular is one you will constantly be bringing back and forth. You can click in an open space in the work area to bring this up as well. For this reason, I try to leave at least one little space of background as it can be faster sometimes. As a general rule if you reach for a menu more than 5 times in a single session consider learning its keyboard shortcut.
There is also a list of quick zoom shortcuts you can use to save time. These will work for both the Playlist and the Piano roll. Experiment with these to get a feel for which ones will be useful to your own workflow and production style.if(typeof ez_ad_units != 'undefined')ez_ad_units.push([[250,250],'synapticsound_com-box-4','ezslot_3',115,'0','0']);__ez_fad_position('div-gpt-ad-synapticsound_com-box-4-0');
